MARK BOOKWALTER - headliner
Mark Bookwalter is a comedian out of Bloomington, Indiana. As an overweight nerdy kid he learned to use humor to combat bullies and low self-esteem. Now he spends most of his time trying to convince his family and friends that he is a comedian by reiterating that he is a regular at The Comedy Attic in Bloomington, IN, has been selected to perform at Limestone Comedy Festival, Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Super Dope, Cloud Top, Let’s Fest and more, and also by reminding them that he has featured for such acts as Beth Stelling, Kyle Kinane, Chris Gethard, Bobcat Goldthwait, Ben Roy, Nick Thune, The Sklar Brothers, Andy Kindler, and more. Mark was also featured on a stop of the Conan O’Brien’s Team Coco House nationwide comedy tour and is featured in a documentary series on Vice.
EMILY DAVIS
Emily Davis is a comic from Bloomington, Indiana and a regular at The Comedy Attic. Emily was voted the Funniest Person In Bloomington in 2020, as shown in the Vice Network documentary show Hunters. Emily is a Limestone veteran and has worked with comedians such as Maria Bamford, Ron Funches, Emo Philips, Josh Gondelman, Sasheer Zamata, Hari Kondabolu, Alex Moffat, and more.
JAN GUDAITIS
Jan Gudaitis, also known as Deadpan Jan, has a dry, ironic wit and unique perspective in seeing comedy where others may not, including her husband. Jan often pokes fun at the painful aspects of life including herself. Her mantra in life is ”Better living through delusional thinking.” Once afraid of people laughing at her, she now gets upset when they don’t. She has been compared to Steven Wright, Bob Newhart and Fred Willard. Her smart writing style complements her deadpan delivery taking the audience on a hilarious joyride to unexpected places. She has performed at The Limestone Comedy Festival (Bloomington, IN), The Cleveland Comedy Festival (Cleveland, OH), The Golden Spike Comedy Festival (Salt Lake City, UT)
JAMES TANFORD
James Tanford is a stand-up comedian from Indiana whose sarcastic and vulnerable stories cover everything from his wealthy childhood to his rec league basketball team. A regular at the Comedy Attic, James is a three-time finalist in the Bloomington Comedy Festival and performs at clubs all over the midwest, where he has been told he's "brave" on more than one occasion.
