Rare bourbon with a great backstory: wild-hair test barrels with buckwheat and quinoa mashbills that were all but forgotten about at that famous old distillery in Lawrenceburg. Enter Perry Ford, a 40-year veteran of that distillery, who went from dumping grain to helping people launch more spirit brands than probably anyone else in the industry. We asked Perry to find these lost barrels of buckwheat and quinoa bourbon for us. As usual, he came through. Perry, this one's for you.
