Old Fashioned Recipe

OLD FASHIONED

Makes 1 cocktail

2 oz Cardinal Spirits Straight Bourbon or Straight Rye Whiskey

1 sugar cube (or 1 teaspoon sugar or 1/4 ounce simple syrup)

3 dashes Angostura bitters

Garnish: orange peel

  1. In a rocks glass, muddle sugar and bitters with teaspoon of warm water to dissolve.

  2. Add whiskey, then add a large ice cube. Stir well.

  3. Garnish with an orange peel.
